Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Checked Solutions, LLC (“Checked Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through Checked, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. Checked is a tool that lets creators, small brands, and businesses connect their own Facebook Page and read and reply to the comments on it, from a single workspace. You connect your own Facebook Page to Checked, and we access data from it only to provide that feature.

1. Who we are

Checked is operated by Checked Solutions, LLC, a software company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

2. The Facebook Page you connect

Checked works with Facebook through Meta’s official Graph API. When you connect your Page, Facebook asks you to authorize the specific permissions Checked needs, and you can review or revoke them at any time in your Facebook settings. We request only the permissions required to read and reply to the comments on your Page — nothing more.

3. What data we collect, and why

The table below lists exactly what Checked accesses, tied to the Meta permission that grants it and the reason we need it. We do not collect data beyond what this feature requires, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Page-scoped IDs (PSIDs) are identifiers Meta assigns to people who interact with your Page; they are specific to your Page and are not a person’s real Facebook ID.

These are the only four Meta permissions Checked requests — pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_read_user_content, and pages_manage_engagement — matching exactly what it requests in Meta App Review. Checked does not use publishing, Instagram, or Google/YouTube permissions.

Information you give us directly

When you create an account or contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name and email address — to set up your account and respond to you.

4. How we use your data

• To show you the comments on your connected Facebook Page, each with the commenter’s name, in one place.
• To let you reply to, hide, or remove those comments from Checked.
• To operate, secure, and support the service, and to communicate with you about it.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except Meta’s API as required to deliver the feature (for example, sending your reply to Meta so it appears on your Page) or where the law requires it.

5. How we store and protect your data

• Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Platform access tokens are encrypted before they are written to storage and are never exposed to other users or logged.
• Owner-only access. Stored data and secrets are accessible only to Checked Solutions, LLC’s owner/operator, and only as needed to run and support the service.
• Encrypted in transit. Connections to Checked and to platform APIs use HTTPS.
• We keep the minimum data needed to provide the features you use.

6. How long we keep it (retention)

We keep your connected-account data only while your account is active and the connection is in place. When you disconnect an account, or when you request deletion, we delete the stored data and access tokens for that account (see below). We may retain limited records where the law requires it, and we remove data we no longer need.

7. How you delete your data

You can remove your data from Checked in either of these ways:

• Disconnect your Page. Removing your connected Page in Checked, or revoking Checked’s access in your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations), deletes the stored data and token for that connection.
• Request full deletion. You can ask us to delete all of your data at our Data Deletion page. Because Checked connects through Facebook Login, Facebook can also send us a deletion request on your behalf, which we honor automatically through our data-deletion callback.

Either way, we permanently remove the connected-account records and encrypted tokens we hold for you.

8. Children’s privacy

Checked is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected].

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Checked evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
